Our Mission and Core Values

Founded by Elijah N. Moyo in 2020, Bright Futures Academy has evolved from a local sports clinic into a prestigious academy serving athletes across Southern Africa. With a background in sports management and a passion for youth development, Elijah established Bright Futures to bridge the gap for athletes seeking opportunities in the US collegiate system and professional sports leagues.

Founder's Background

Elijah N. Moyo, born and raised in Zimbabwe and now based in Seattle, has a distinguished background in basketball. Selected to the Harare U16 provincial team at 14 and captaining it by 15, he went on to earn MVP titles and represent Zimbabwe at U16 and U18 levels. With a basketball and academic scholarship, Elijah brings over a decade of coaching experience, aiming to make BFA the premier academy in Southern Africa, nurturing talent and fostering personal growth.
